On tour with Moest – Part 9: Toronto メストとの演奏旅行 その9 トロント

WKH woke up rather early due to jetlagand it was still a little early for practising…
…so let’s go to the gym! (open 24 hours!!!)

After some excersize coming back in the room, still too early to start practising, so I did some score studying instead.
Once I could see the sun coming out and the weather seemed to be absolutely great, I sent P.K. from the 1st violins to ask him to call back as soon as he’s up, so we can go see the CN Tower! The weather was simply perfect and risking for a better day…no way, today or never!!

Well, it didn’t take long for also jet lagged P.K. to call in the room and we decided to leave the hotel intime to get to the tower as soon as it opensSmilie: ;-)

A nice 20 minute walk and we were there:

No line to wait, we bought the tickets and off we go, high up in the sky!!!

1st station = “Look out level” at 347m

Great view over the lake with the sun shining straight into the lens…

…and even a airplane taking off from the nearby airport!

Further up from the “Sky Pod” at 447m

Quickly a self portrait before looking down againSmilie: ;-)

Looking down towards the “Look out” Level with the Rogers Center next to it

Back down with the elevator, this time to experience the “Glass Floor”

Great weather, great view, great experience, really enjoyed it!!!!

About WKH / K

I am a violinist, born in Salzburg, living and working in Vienna. Music is passion, dedication and love, which requires a lot of of discipline and time as well; but photography, nature, sport and animals play a important role in my life, too! Well, I guess it’s time to live my dreams instead of dreaming my life!!
